What users say
Pros
- Files stay local while a document is open and sync to the cloud once the program closes.
- Documents and personal files sync back and can be recovered a few hours after signing in on a new setup.
- Law firm files stayed available during a document platform switch with no sign of loss or damage.
Cons
- Folders disappear while the activity log shows no record of a deletion or a move.
- Local files get offloaded to the cloud by default, and filenames in double-byte character sets break the sync.
- The client desynchronizes at random and the folder cannot be resynchronized afterwards.
- The client returns after removal, reinstalling itself with the next Windows update.
- Downloading a shared photo folder requires a Microsoft account sign-in first.
- Prompts to buy more cloud storage keep appearing during normal file work.
