This Privacy Policy explains what the operator of ToolFlock ("ToolFlock", "we") collects when you visit toolflock.com, and what we do with it.

1. Summary

  • Visitors do not need an account. We do not sell personal data.
  • When you click a Listing, you leave ToolFlock; the link carries UTM parameters, not personal data.
  • Rankings use third-party public data (website popularity levels, public reviews and community discussions, official pricing pages).

2. What we collect

Visitors

  • Basic request data our hosting provider logs automatically: IP address, browser user agent, page requested, referrer and time. Used for security, abuse prevention and to keep the site running.
  • Aggregate click counts per Listing (which Listing, which placement, which rank, when). We do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Listing owners / advertisers

  • Contact email and the details you submit for a correction, or for an ad: website, ad title, description, category and tags (see the Ad Guidelines).
  • Messages you send us.
  • If ad checkout is offered later, payment records from a Merchant of Record (we never see full card numbers).

3. Cookies

ToolFlock does not need cookies to show rankings, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add optional cookies or similar technologies in future, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Outbound links add utm_source=toolflock, utm_medium=referral, utm_campaign and utm_content. These describe the placement, not you. The site you visit will see them, and its own privacy policy applies from then on.

  • To provide the rankings (legitimate interests).
  • To keep the site secure and enforce our Terms (legitimate interests).
  • To handle advertising and corrections (contract / legitimate interests).

6. Who we share data with

  • Service providers that help us run ToolFlock, such as hosting, content delivery, security and email delivery. They receive only the information reasonably needed for their task.
  • Data sources (read-only public APIs and pages we summarise). We do not send your personal data to them when you only browse.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Public by design: Listing names, logos, verdicts, traffic levels, pricing and review summaries are shown publicly.

7. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep data

  • We keep personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy, unless the law requires or permits longer.
  • Server logs: only as long as needed for security and to keep the site running.
  • Correction and advertising records: as long as needed to handle the request and any legal obligation.
  • Listing data: while the Listing is live and in archives of past rankings.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data-protection authority. Email support@toolflock.com.

10. Children

ToolFlock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere and limit access to personal data to people who need it.

We will update the date above when this policy changes.
