Kimi Slides is Kimi's AI presentation workspace for turning source material into an editable slide deck. A project can begin with a short topic, pasted text, a document, an image reference, or an existing PowerPoint template. Kimi then builds an outline, writes or structures the slide content, selects layouts, and creates the presentation inside its online editor.
The starting material determines which parts of the deck are supplied by the user and which parts Kimi must generate. A detailed report provides an existing information structure to condense. A short brief requires more content development. A visual reference provides layout and art-direction cues, while a PowerPoint template supplies reusable brand and page rules.

Generation leads into an online editor
The completed deck remains editable in Kimi Slides. Text, images, slide order, layouts, charts, diagrams, and other supported elements can be revised directly or changed through follow-up instructions. The deck can be presented online, exported as a PowerPoint file, sent to Google Slides through the supported route, or saved as PNG images.
Kimi documents multiple creation modes. An adaptive route generates layout and styling around the supplied content, while a visual route starts from a selected template. Custom PowerPoint templates form another input path and do not require an official preset. Mode selection changes how much of the visual system is generated and how much is inherited.
Source material remains separate from the slide file
Uploaded documents, reference images, templates, generated research, and the final presentation serve different roles. The source provides facts or visual rules; the outline determines sequence; the editor holds the slide objects; the export creates a delivery file. Changes to one stage do not automatically guarantee fidelity in the next.
Kimi Slides is available through Kimi's slides interface and uses the account's current credits, plan access, and generation limits. Supported input formats, editing functions, generation modes, and export routes can vary with account or rollout. The final deck remains a generated artifact that can be reviewed against its source files before distribution.
