Who it's for

Best for

  • Creators who need fast background removal, upscaling, and photo cleanup
  • Designers who need quick background removal and object cleanup on product shots

Not for

  • Hobbyists expecting a full free toolkit, since most editing tools sit behind the paid plan
  • Subscribers who need a simple cancellation route and email-and-password login

Features

  • Remove background

Extracts the main subject from a picture with high accuracy, producing a cut-out that can be dropped onto a new scene or a plain white background.

  • Cleanup

Removes objects, text and defects from images automatically with an inpainting algorithm, then returns the cleaned picture.

  • Relight

Relights an image with new light sources, changing the direction and mood of the lighting on an existing photo.

  • Image upscaler

Upscales images by 2x or 4x in seconds, and can also remove noise and recover fine detail during the process.

  • Jasper API

Embeds AI image models directly into a product through the Jasper API, with API documentation and separate API pricing available.

What users say

Pros

  • Relight rebuilds lighting and directional shadows cleanly across finished illustrations.
  • Text to image generated a steam locomotive design distinctive enough to be redrawn later as pixel art.

Cons

  • Most editing tools are locked in the free version, which leaves only very limited access.
  • Cancellation ran into a help desk page stuck on 404, unanswered emails and yearly charges still being taken for three years.
  • A magic-link-only login stalled a planned paid upgrade until an alternative service was found.
