What users say

Pros

  • Runs on basic phones and cheap laptops with recording tools available at zero cost.
  • Vocal presets and built-in effects deliver a polished sound without requiring audio engineering skills.
  • Works reliably as a fast mobile scratchpad for sketching song ideas outside a primary DAW.
  • Paid membership costs a fraction of DAWs like FL Studio and includes Cakewalk Next and Sonar.

Cons

  • Once-free samples, effects, presets and even Studio access keep moving behind the paywall.
  • Projects lag or crash once they grow, in the browser and on desktop.
  • Free accounts get ads, even when opening a project of their own.
  • Autotune and the free mastering are basic, and mixes hit limits fast.
